OUR DJs
Lia (GR)
Hi I am Lia,
My journey through music and Argentine tango has taken me to stages, festivals, and prestigious venues across Europe and Asia, including the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Megaron Concert Hall in Greece. Having performed with renowned orchestras as a soloist and ensemble musician, and received distinctions in international competitions, music has always been at the heart of my artistic expression.
Today, I also bring this musical journey to the tango floor through DJing, sharing my passion for tango music, its orchestras, rhythms, and emotions, and creating musical experiences that inspire connection, movement, and the magic of the dance.
Juampi (ARG/SE)
Hi I am Juan Pablo Canavire,
I am also known as DJ Juampi. I spent six years as a resident DJ at DNI Tango in Buenos Aires, an experience that shaped my musical identity and remains one of the highlights of my career.
Since then, I have shared my music at renowned milongas and international tango festivals across Europe and Asia, including Italy, Hong Kong, Russia, Switzerland, Greece, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Today, I am based in Stockholm, where I continue to be part of the city's vibrant tango scene.
For me, music is the heart of every milonga. My role as a DJ is to bring the dance floor to life through carefully selected tandas, balancing rhythm, energy, elegance, and romance. I believe a good DJ doesn't just play music but creates an atmosphere, connects with the dancers, and keeps the energy flowing throughout the night.
Ahmed (EG/SE)
Hi I am Ahmed,
I am a Gothenburg-based tango DJ originally from Egypt, with many years of experience as a tango dancer and a deep passion for it. For me, tango is all about connection, emotion, and the unexpected magic that happens on the dance floor.
As a DJ, I love exploring the balance between playfulness and intensity, mixing rhythms, moods, and musical expressions to create an exciting journey for the dancers. My goal is to keep people curious, inspired, and connected, making every tanda and every moment memorable.
Because a great milonga isn't just about the music we hear, but about the feelings we take home.
